Happy Independence Day

HAPPY INDEPENDANCE DAY

August 15th - 60th Independence Day of our country came with JPRT 171 proudly participating in the independence day celebrations at THREE different schools that it supports near Jaipur, as well as the inauguration of the new school wing built by JHRT-185!

What more proof is required of the zeal of the camels of JPRT that at least two tablers each volunteered to go to all of these schools at 8:30 AM in the morning, one of these being more than 70 kms away from the city!

Independence day celebrations at JPRT SKD School

Tr. Shishir Saraf, Tr. Chinmay Agarwal, Tr. Alok Kothari and Tr. Manish Kasliwal visited the "KHEJROLI SCHOOL" (the JPRT 171 Govt. Primary School, Sunaron Ki Dhani, Khejroli) for the 15th August Independence Day celebrations. The weather was fantastic and so was the drive from Jaipur to Khejroli, a good one and a half hour drive of more than 70 Kms. The lush green fields in Khejroli through which we drove looked idyllic. The school all looked fabulous and it is a Good time to go mate!!!

When we reached there, the School children, teachers and local villager were anxiously waiting for us, and as soon as we reached, the programme started. Welcome call by Mr. Bansidhar the teacher, garlanding of Mr. Baluranji, Chief Guest Mr. Parshad Babulalji Saini and JPRT Treasurer Apke Apne Munshi Manish ji, and the rest of us. Then came the flag hoisting and the National anthem, sung by three small girls of the school. This was followed by 30mins of performances by students including songs, poems and dance. Then came the requisite speechs by the guests. On behalf of JPRT we thanked them for inviting us.

As requested by Mr. Bansidharji we had carried a Dharri for the class 4 students. them a donation for the Electricity connection and expanses incurred on celebrations. The Boundary wall and the plantation work seemed done in the school. All looked good and work neatly done. Mr Bansidharji, as requested, provided us with the list of students currently studying. There are a total of 74 students currently studying (30 boys and 44 girls). The school is currently upto the 4th class. The maximum strength is in the 1st class with a total strength of 32 students.

Independence day celebrations at Siwar School

Tr. Keshav Bihani went for the Independence Day Celebrations at the Govt. Upper Primary School, Siwar supported by JPRT. The flag hoisting took place at 9.00 AM as scheduled. The Principal did flag hoisting followed by National Anthem which was followed by welcoming of guests. The guests included local Parshad, two Industrialists from the area and myself. It was followed by cultural programme by school children which lasted for one and half hour.

The total strength of the school is currently 250 and the upkeep of the school was excellent. Prizes were given to the children who excelled in studies. I was asked to give away prizes to the children. Biscuits were distributed amongst the children on behalf of JPRT.

Independence day celebrations at Parshuramdwara School

Tr. Tarun Bansal, Chairman, JPRT 171 - I had the privilege of going to the site of our current ongoing FTE project at Parshuramdwara near Jaipur. We are building an 8 classroom new wing for this school that has 850 students studying in 5 rooms in a 50 year old dilapidated structure as of now.

Being with the children, seeing the various programmes that they had put together, and being a witness to the enthusiasm and hopes that are reflected on these young eager faces, gives tabling a whole new meaning. The most heartwarming is the one of a skit performed by these children on the importance of education for girls.

Independence day celebrations and inauguration at Bindayaka School

Another big event this independence day was the inauguration of JHRT school wing at the Govt. Upper primary school in Bindayaka near Jaipur. This is the first project completed under the MOU between the Govt. of Rajasthan and Round Table India.

The inauguration was part of the Independence Day celebrations there. JHRT-185 has built four classes here, donated playground equipment, done landscaping and tree plantation etc at this school.
